Our Raw Vegan Personal Chef certificate course offers comprehensive instruction on raw vegan cuisine, its nutritional benefits, contraindications, preparation, process, and presentation. The course details raw vegan cooking guidelines, solar cooking, dehydration, blending, juicing, milking, and fermentation. Instruction includes menu development, customization, and health assessments. Lessons include shopping, sprouting guidelines and growing a variety of young fruits and vegetables, such as baby greens and cherry tomatoes within weeks, in your own kitchen.

The course contains information on government required food handling training and guidelines. Instruction covers eco-friendly sanitation, preparation and hygiene. Course lessons include the process of establishing a personal raw vegan chef business, licensing, insurance and marketing guidelines.

A “personal” chef is generally defined as a non-commercial chef that has a variety of personal clients. Personal chefs often have their meals delivered to their clients from a licensed kitchen, or they prepare the meals in their clients’ home. This course will instruct students on how to establish themselves as a Personal Raw Vegan Chef, by learning how to create a variety of raw vegan meals, snacks, drinks, and desserts, while educating their clients on the nutritional benefits of raw vegan foods.

For successful completion of the course, the student must complete live online video workshops, required readings, lesson assignments, and submit a final video presentation.  

The student’s assignments must be electronically submitted. The final presentation must consist of a variety of raw vegan food and beverage preparations.

Academic Pre-requisite: High School Diploma

Technical Requirements: High speed internet to complete the required live online video (Zoom) course attendance.
